Hakim al-Umma Moulana Ashraf ‘Ali Thanawi (ra)

Mawlana Ashraf ‘Ali Thanawi, referred to by many South Asian Muslims as Hakim al-Umma (“Spiritual Physician of the Muslim Umma”) and Mujaddid al-Milla (“Reformer of the Nation”), is a towering figure of Islamic revival and reawakening of South Asia in the twentieth century. Mawlana Thanawi was the “most eminent religious figure of his time, a prolific author, and believed to be the greatest Sufi of modern India.”

“He led a very active life, teaching, preaching, writing, lecturing, and making occasional journeys” (Naeem 94). The distinguishing mark and guiding principle that led to the vast success of his message was a remarkable sense of balance and straightforwardness in his speeches and writings. Mawlana Thanawi was an exemplar of the Qur’anic verse “And thus have We made you a nation justly balanced, that you might be witnesses over mankind” (Qur’an 2:143). An astounding, comprehensive knowledge of all branches of Islamic learning was evident in his personality, explicated in his lectures, and recorded in his writings. The Indian jurist Qadi Mujahid al-Islam Qasimi said, “It is hard to think of an area of Islamic sciences left unattended by his writings” (Zayd 11).

His religious approach encompasses all aspects of the subject under discussion, and his viewpoints on different issues reflect a genuine, thorough examination of traditional Islamic thought. His acute intelligence, revolutionary method of training and teaching, love of Allah and His Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace), organized management of time, broadmindedness, tolerance, and unique and fresh, yet conservative, understanding of religious disciplines has etched him a permanent place in Islamic history.

He is my only Lord and the only one

I leave and go but God the one with all the kindness is always there
and I ask Him for hope that is never rejected .
I ask Him all the time and in all cases because He is the one who makes our hearts feel safe .
ومن كرم ومن لطف خفي ومن فرج تزول به الكروب
He eases hard tragedy on us from generosity and hidden kindness as well as relief to hardships we face .
ومن لي غير باب الله باب ولا مولا سواه ولا حبيب
I Have no one to ask but God .
He is my only Lord and the only one .
كريم منعم بر لطيف جميل الستر للداعي مجيب
My heart is full of love , for He is generous , blessed , kind and answers the prayers of his servants .
حليم لا يعاجل بالخطايا رحيم غيث رحمته يصوب
He is patient , He always puts forgiveness before punishment.
He is so merciful that His mercy includes all beings .
فيا ملك الملوك أقل عثاري فإني عنك أنأتني الذنوب
Oh , Lord of all lords , forgive me ; my sins distanced me from you .
وأمرضني الهوى لهوان حظي ولكن ليس غيرك لي طبيب
My mistakes and sins sicken me more everyday but you are the only doctor who can make me feel fine .
إلهي أنت تعلم كيف حالي فهل يا سيدي فرج قريب

Islam & Christianity by Ulfat Aziz-us-Samad

Islam & Christianity is devoted for this very aim. Following this very method, namely, reaching the truth by means of through investigation, comparison and analysis. As Divine religion, Islam And Christianity have much in conman as they are reveled by the one and same sender; Allah, the Almighty. As a matter of fact, both Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Jesus(eleh salm) are great divine prophets, each of them spoke honestly and friendly of the other. Jesus (eleh salm)gave glad tidings of Muhammad's (peace be upon him)
(peace be upon him) coming as he said:
"... I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he,the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth." (john 16:12:13)
Muhammad (peace be upon him), on his part, considered belief in Jesus' Prophet hood a prerequisite for a full and perfect Faith. as the Glorious Qur'an says:
"...Say, ye: ... We believe in god, and the Revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ismael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to all Prophets from their Lord. We make no diffrence between one and another of them and we bow to God (in Islam)..." (Qur'an 2:136)
As this is the stand of both prophets, Muslim and Christians alike should have been following in their exact footsteps. Unfortunately, most of them, due to grate ignorance, misunderstanding and even envy have gone astray and lost their steps.
Islam and christianity clarifies the way for those aho have the will to go on right path, through intellectual as well as textual evidence. It sheds light on different fundamentals of both religion; the Glorious Qur'an & the Gospels, Muhammad & Jesus (pbut), doctrines and moral teaching found in Islam and Christianity, etc.
AL-FALAH, for it has committed itself and devoted all its resources and effort to remove and clarify all misconceptions ad distortions around Islam and Muslims all over the world, present this new edition of the valuable book ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY for all those who beseech the truth.

What is faith?

Narrated Abu Huraira:  One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, "What is faith?" Allah's Apostle replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, "What is Islam?" Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly, to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?" Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you." Then he further asked, "When will the Hour be established?" Allah's Apostle replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents.
1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.
2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.
The Prophet then recited: "Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour--." (31. 34) Then that man (Gabriel) left and the Prophet asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. Then the Prophet said, "That was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion." Abu 'Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all that as a part of faith.

The signs of a Hypocrite

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three:
1. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
2. Whenever he promises, he always breaks it (his promise).
3. If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest. (If you keep something as a trust with him, he will not return it.)" (AL-Bukhari 1:32)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: The Prophet said, "Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up.
1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.
2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.
4. Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner." (AL-Bukhari 1:33)

♥ she watched her feet swell,
♥ she struggled to climb the stairs,
♥ she got breathless quick,
♥ she suffered many sleepless nights,
♥ she became your nurse, your chef, your teacher, your friend.

Dua Al Istigfar

I am so bad; I always mess up. I don’t deserve any good from Allah (swt)and as punishment, I probably will not be given success in my other endeavors

How many people have felt this way at some point? Sometimes, our sins weigh heavily on us. We recognize our mistakes but instead of turning back to Allah (swt), we turn away.

O son of Adam so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me I shall forgive you for what you have done and I shall not mind......O son of Adam were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me I would forgive you................hadith Qudsi

When we mess up, even if we messed up in a major way, we return to Him We return to Him recognizing that what we did was truly horrible, but we ask for His forgiveness because we know He is that forgiving, and that His Mercy encompasses everything. When we mess up again and again, and feel sick of ourselves, we return to Him with a sincere du’a (supplication) to help us stop, knowing that He will respond

And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah ? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know

Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers

رَبَّنََآ إنَّنَآ ءَاَمنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
(Our Lord!  we have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire).........[surah Ali' Imran; 3:16]

Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allah ? Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful..QURAN 27:64

Is Allah better, or (all) that you ascribe as partners (to Him)?" .........(Of course, Allah is Better)

FROM GOD TO ALLAH

by AHMED HULUSI
www.ahmedhulusi.org

From a God who thinks like a man, to a man who thinks like Allah!
For centuries after centuries, mankind has found solace in the idea of idolizing and deifying an all-powerful being with whom refuge can be sought against the many calamities and events that leave mankind helpless and impotent.
This process of deification and seeking salvation and success from an outside source, has led mankind to turn towards numerous concepts of god/s with the hope of having their dreams and desires met. As such, various objects that were thought to be powerful enough to have the capacity to meet their demands were deemed as gods, and hence began the period of idolatry.
At first, the gods were identified from among certain stones, plants and animals on earth. However, once their mortal nature was recognized, and as Prophets and Rasuls came time and time again pointing to the absurdity of deifying these earthly objects, man gave up on earthly gods and turned his gaze towards the heavens. This time, deifying certain heavenly objects or stars with specific influences as gods.
Whenever man encountered an object or event that he could not solve or comprehend, it became a mysterious power for him, to which he eventually associated a concept of godhood. This concept of an earthly or heavenly god falls into direct contradiction with scientific knowledge and is nothing but postulation. The Quran rejects this assumption that goes against verified knowledge with its ‘kalima-i tawhid’ (The Word of Unity), ‘there is no god’.
Man imprisoned himself in a cocoon when he idolized fire and heavenly bodies, all in supposition of a ‘god’. In time and with conditionings from the environment, he began to lead a life completely devoid of contemplation. Enslavement was the price of this ignorance; he became a slave to his gods and this dependence became his reassurance.

MAN, WORLD, UNIVERSE AND ISLAM

by AHMED HULUSI
www.ahmedhulusi.org

Do we know anything about the world, which exists, beyond our physical viewpoint? In this day and age, everybody asked this question will naturally give the following answer:
“Of course, I live on Earth!” Well, this is actually the answer given to the question: “Where do you live now?”
If you tell someone that he is an alien from outer space then the reply will be: “No, how can this happen? I am from a planet known as Earth.” So, is this Earth not in space? Are we not living on a planet called Earth, which is travelling through space?
Well, if we consider this realistically, we are in fact only a tiny speck in space. Because we have for so many centuries been inclined to accept everything in a conditioned manner, we think that we live in a world which is fixed at some point, around which the sun orbits, and that the whole of the universe is rotating about our planet Earth. As a result of this assumption, we accept ourselves as being life forms living on this Earth, and the Earth as the centre of the universe.
The most up-to-date modern science of our time still hasn't succeeded in making us aware that there are many other realities beyond our knowledge, which have to be learned in the meantime. We keep on telling ourselves that we are a species born and raised on the planet Earth. Yes, but even though each of us has lived and spent our time here on this Earth, how could the world we live in be best explained? Under what criteria will the definition of our world be made? What sort of world is it and where can it be found in the universe?
Again, let me ask you a different question this time: How old are you? Some of you will say I am 30 and some of you will say I am 50. Now, the question is, are you really 30 or 50 years old? What I mean to say is, what dictates that your age is 30 or 50?
As we already know, the world that we live in at present is only one of many other planets in this solar system of ours, which rotates around the sun. We are approximately 150 million kilometres away from the sun, continuously turning around this giant hot star. The sun which we see every day in the sky, standing out there in the sky like a giant copper tray or a massive saucepan is approximately one million 303 thousand times bigger than our world in terms of its mass.
Now, at this point, let's try to concentrate: We are always telling ourselves that our lives on Earth have been in the process of continuation ever since we were created. Furthermore, our definition of a one-year period is the amount of time it takes our Earth to complete one full revolution around the sun. According to us, this is the unit of measure, which is represented by one year. We also tell ourselves that our age has reached 30, because the Earth has gone around the sun 30 times in succession. In other words: since the day we were born, the Earth has completed exactly 30 revolutions around the sun. As can be seen very clearly from this example, this is the way in which we have produced our own definition of time. Meanwhile, we are still unable to come to terms with a very important factor, which needs to be understood, either by deliberately ignoring it or by pretending that we don't want to know anything about it at all. Or perhaps we are totally unaware of this fact.
Because in our world of limited understanding, there is no such concept or point of view. Yes, in reality, all of us, regardless of whom we are, are living in our own world of perception and resemble very closely indeed a shell, covered over and submerged, so that our contact with the outside world has been completely lost. As a result of this, we can just about manage to communicate with the others around us through using our limited understanding but also get trapped into the values that these people have predetermined for us.
Being stuck into our own world of perception, we know absolutely nothing about what is happening out there, which means that our interpretation of what is actually happening around us is a complete mystery to us and is something that we don’t notice, and therefore we are not able to realize many of the facts of our lives.

Namaaz-e-Chaast (Breakfast prayer)

When the sun has risen high and there is heat in its rays, the performance of 2,4, 6,8 or 12 rakaats is called Namaaz-e-Chaast. This is full of countless rewards. The Traditions says that the performance of 2 rakaats wipes away all ones sins. There are 360 joints in our body and to pay Sadakah for each is Wajib (obligatory) The 2 rakaaats is enough to pay all the Sadakah. Performance of 4 rakaats places the performer's name among the Abids and is the Sunnat of Saliheen and promise the performer protection until the evening. The performer of 6 rakaats is relieved of his day's worries. Performance of 8 rakaats places his name among the Parhezgaars and the performer of 12 rakaats ensures a Golden Mansion or castle for himself in Paradise. (Ref : Tirmizi, Ibne Majah, Ahmad and Abu Yala)
The Mustahabb (preferred) time of performing Salat al-Dhuhaa is after 1/4 of the day has passed. This is deduced from a Hadith of Muslim. (Halabi; Sharah Kabeer pg.390). From many Ahaadith, we understand that Salat al-Dhuhaa should be performed after the sun has risen quiet high. Because the Fuqahaa and Muhadditheen are of the opinion that the commencement of the time of Salat al-Dhuhaa is the same as that of Ishraaq (i.e. immediately after sunrise), the Ulama have stated that 'if due to lack of time, one performs the Salat of Ishraaq and Dhuhaa together at one time, that too will be correct.' (Our Namaas pg.44)

Rasulullah is reported to have said, 'Whoever offers 2 Rakaats of Salat al-Dhuhaa, all his sins will be forgiven even though they are as much as the foam of the sea.' (Ibid)

It is reported that Sayyidna Aaisha (Radhiallaahu Anha) used to perform 8 Rakaats of Salat al-Dhuhaa. She said that even if her parents arose from the grave, she would not leave Salat al-Dhuhaa to go and meet them. (Ibid).

'Salat al-Dhuhaa consists of 2 - 12 Rakaats and it is preferable to perform 8 Rakaats.' (Raddul Mukhtaar vol.1 pg.505)

The Prophet (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) is reported to have said that Whoever prayed twelve rakaats at the time of Chasht, then Allah will, as reward, prepare a palace of gold for him in Paradise. [Mishkat, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah]

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER HUSBAND

Marriage in Islam
In Islam, marriage is a blessed contract between a man and a woman, in which each becomes “permitted” to the other, and they begin the long journey of life in a spirit of love, cooperation, harmony and tolerance, where each feels at ease with the other, and finds tranquility, contentment and comfort in the company of the other. The Qur’aan has described this relationship between men and women, which brings love, harmony, trust and compassion, in the most moving and eloquent terms:
(And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your [hearts] . . .
(Qur’aan 30:21)
This is the strongest of bonds, in which Allah (subhaanahu wa ‘ta’aalaa) unites the two Muslim partners, who come together on the basis of love, understanding, co-operation and mutual advice, and establish a Muslim family in which children will live and grow up, and they will develop the good character and behavior taught by Islam. The Muslim family is the strongest component of a Muslim society when its members are productive and constructive, helping and encouraging one another to be good and righteous, and competing with one another in good works. The righteous woman is the pillar, cornerstone and foundation of the Muslim family. She is seen as the greatest joy in a man’s life, as the Prophet (Sala llah alayhi wa salam) said:
“This world is just temporary conveniences, and the best comfort in this world is a righteous woman."
A righteous woman is the greatest blessing that Allah (subhaanahu wa ‘ta’aalaa) can give to a man, for with her he can find comfort and rest after the exhausting struggle of earning a living. With his wife, he can find incomparable tranquility and pleasure. How can a woman be the best comfort in this world? How can she be a successful woman, true to her own femininity, and honored and loved? This is what will be explained in the following

She chooses a good husband
One of the ways in which Islam has honored woman is by giving her the right to choose her husband. Her parents have no right to force her to marry someone she dislikes. The Muslim woman knows this right, but she does not reject the advice and guidance of her parents when a potential suitor comes along, because they have her best interests at heart, and they have more experience of life and people. At the same time, she does not forego this right because of her father’s wishes that may make him force his daughter into a marriage with someone she dislikes. There are many texts that support the woman in this sensitive issue, for example the report quoted by Imam Al-Bukhaari from al-Khansa’ bint Khidam:

The best of you

The Prophet Muhammad (Sala llah alayhi wa salam) said, "Fear Allah in respect of women." And: "The best of you are they who behave best to their wives."

The Prophet Muhammad (Sala llah alayhi wa salam) said: “Fear Allah in respect of women. The best of you are they who behave best to their wives.” “A Muslim must not hate his wife, and if he be displeased with one bad quality in her, let him be pleased with one that is good.” The more civil and kind a Muslim husband is to his wife, the more perfect in faith he is.” (Sahih Muslim)

The Day

Warn them of the Day that is (ever) drawing near, when the heart will (come) right up to the throats to choke (them); No intimate friend nor intercessor will the wrong-doers have, who could be listened to.
Holy Quran (40:18)

End-of-world

They see the (DAY) indeed so far-off (event): But we see it (quiet) near

Until he is forgiven

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet(saw) said:
"There is a Surah in the Qur'an, with thirty Verses, which will intercede for its companion (the one who recites it) until he is forgiven: Tabarakal-Iadhi bi yadihilmulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)."(Hasan)
Majah 3:666

Glory your lord

Reported by Ibn Abbas (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Glory your lord in Ruku ' (bowing posture) and exert yourself in supplication in prostration. Thus your supplication are liable to be accepted." ( sahih muslim )

Marriage for two who love

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'There is nothing like marriage for two who love one another." (Hasan)
(Ibn e majah 2:3)

..:: THE OBEDIENT FATHER AND THE OBEDIENT SON ::..

"It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allaah: it is your piety that reaches Him.." - (The Qur'an, Chapter 22: Verse 37)

"And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: 'O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offering you in sacrifice to Allâh). So look what you think!' He said: 'O my father! Do that which you are commanded, In shâ' Allâh (if Allâh wills), you shall find me of As-Sâbirûn (the patient).'

Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allâh), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering);

We called out to him: "O Ibrâhîm (Abraham)!

You have fulfilled the dream!" Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers. See 2:112).

Verily, that indeed was the manifest trial.

And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram);

And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations.

Salâm (peace) be upon Ibrâhîm (Abraham)!

Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers)."

[Al Quran; Chp 37 Verses 102 to 110]

The second day of the annual Hajj pilgrimage

More than two million Muslims have travelled from Mecca to Mount Arafat, on the second day of the annual Hajj pilgrimage

The Day of Arafat is the only day when Muslims gather together at Arafat Mountain in an act of unity to pray and fast for their religion and to offer sacrifices as they remember that Abraham offered Ishmael, It is called the Day of Repentance

Indeed, the day of Arafat is a blessed day and there is no other covenant greater than this covenant! Arafat is a day of Forgiveness from sins, freedom from the Hell-Fire for the people who are present in the plain of Arafat. A’ishah (radhi Allâhu anha) narrated the Messenger of Allâh (sallAllâhu alaihi wa-sallam) saying:
“There is no day on which Allâh frees more people from the Fire than the day of Arafat. [Sahîh Muslim]
( ما من يوم أكثر من أن يعتق الله فيه عبدا من النار من يوم عرفة) رواه مسلم في الصحيح.
This Hâdîth mentions forgiveness for the pilgrims. In addition to this, fasting on the day of Arafat is a Sunnah and an expiation of sins for the residents.

Narrated Aisha radhi Allahu anhu: Whenever ALLAH (swt)’s Apostle  Prophet Muhammad (saw) saw the rain, he used to say, “O (swt) ! Let it be a strong fruitful rain.”

 [ Bukhari, Book 17, Number 142 ]

Al-Fatiha 1

(1)"In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful."

... In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

(2)"All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds"

Praise be to God, is a predicate of a nominal clause, the content of which is intended to extol God
[by stating that]: He possesses the praise of all creatures, or that He [alone] deserves their praise.

God is a proper noun for the One truly worthy of worship; Lord of all Worlds, that is, [He is] the One Who owns all of creation: humans, jinn, angels, animals and others as well,
each of which may be referred to as a ‘world’; one says ‘the world of men’, or ‘world of the jinn’ etc.

I am ALLAH there is no god except Me

I am ALLAH there is no god except Me, so serve Me and establish worship ( Salaat ) for My remembrance.

If everyone knew the true status of a Muslim women in Islam ♥

"When she is a DAUGHTER, she opens a door of jannah for her father
When she is a WIFE, she completes half of the Deen of her husband
When she is a MOTHER, Jannah lies under her feet"

How Quran lead me towards Islam

My name is Sally, my Muslim friends call me Asma. I am thirteen years old, and I converted to Islam on February 16, 2010.

I was born to a non-practicing Catholic mother and a Conservative Jewish father. I was raised a reform Jew and became very ‘into’ Judaism. I had plans to become a Bat Mitzvah (daught…er of the commandment) and a rabbi at the age of eight.

When I was twelve, I finally became a Bat Mitzvah. I also sparked an interest for other religions, specifically, Islam, as most of my friends at the time were Muslim. SubhanAllah, I got my hands on an English translation of the Holy Qur’an! The more I read, the more I researched. I read even more about Judaism, and I started to disagree with it more and more.

A True Story of Real Love & Devotion For Allah…♥

“After performing Salat Al Maghrib, she put on her make-up, wore her beautiful white dress preparing herself for her wedding party, Then she heard the Adhan of ‘Ishaa and she realized that she broke her Wudu…she told her mother:

“Mother, I have to go to make wudu and pray ‘Ishaa”
Her mother was shocked: “Are you in ur right frame of mind?!. Guests are waiting for you, to see u! what about your make –up? It will be all washed away by water!!” then she added
” I am your mother and I order you not to perform salah now! if you make wudu now, I will be angry at you”

Her daughter replied : ”Wallahi I won’t go out from here till I perform my salah! Mother you must know that, ‘There is no obedience to any creature in disobedience to the Creator!’

The believers, men & women, are awliya [helpers, supporters, friends, protectors] of one another…

The believers, men & women, are awliya [helpers, supporters, friends, protectors] of one another…” [Qur’an 9:71].

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "The Muslim has six rights.

(1) When you meet him, you should greet him with Assalamualykum
(2) When he invites you, you should accept his invitation.
(3) When he asks you for counsel, you should advice him.
(4) When he sneezes and praises Allah [by saying Alhamdulillah], you should reply Yarhamukallah.
(5) When he is ill, you should visit him.
(6) When he dies, you should follow him (i.e. his funeral procession)." [Sahih Muslim]

Show kindness to your parents

"Your Lord has decreed that you shall serve none but Him, and show kindness to your parents." (Quran 17:23)

Signs of Allah in Birds

Allah says in the Holy Quran:

"Do they not see the birds suspended in mid-air up in the sky? Nothing holds them there except Allah. There are certainly Signs in that for people who have faith." (Surat an-Nahl: 79)
...
A bird uses great energy when it takes flight because it has to lift all its body with its tiny wings. Yet, once it is up in the air, Allah has made it easy for it to remain aloft without expending too much effort. Birds can fly for a long time by allowing themselves to rely on the wind. This way, they hardly tire since they consume very little energy. When the effect produced by the wind diminishes, they begin to flap their wings again. By means of this feature Allah has given birds, they can cover very long distances and migrate to remote destinations.

It is interesting that birds' legs, so slender and little in comparison to their bodies, can carry their entire bodies. It is amazing that so many muscles, veins and nerves can exist in such a slender leg! If birds' legs were thicker and relatively more bulky, it would be more difficult for them to fly.

Who will burn on the highest level of jahannum?

The prophet muhammad (saw) asked jibraeel (as) " O Jibraeel, who will burn on the highest level of jahannum?" This question was repeated three times, and then Jibraeel (as) replied, " O Nabi of Allah! It will be the people of your Ummah, those who committed sin and died without toba!"

Take two minutes out of your day and do Astaghfar, Ask allah to forgive your sins, your brothers and sisters, friends, you countries sins and the ummah's sins!

PROHIBITION OF WINE AND GAMBLING IN THE QURAN

They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth Allah Make clear to you His Signs: In order that ye may consider.

Miracle of Holy Qur'an

This body was only discovered in 1898 but the Quran existed nearly 1400 years ago. This is the dead body of Ramses II, the Egyptian Pharaoh in the era of Prophet Moses(A.S). Its age is approximately 3000 years old and it was found by the Red Sea and is now on display in the Royal Mummies Museum in Cairo.

(QURAN 10:92)
Today we will preserve your body so you can be a sign for people who come after you. Surely many people are heedless of our signs.

(QURAN 14:52)
This is a proclamation for the people, to be warned herewith, and to let them know that He is only one God, and for those who possess intelligence to take heed.

Astaghfirullah…..

may ALLAH forgive us all..... Ameen

Recognize your enemy and fight against him

How Your Enemy (Shaitan) Traps You Into Sins
 Traps of Shaytaan:

Quran 35:6-"Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his followers that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire."

Some traps of Shaitaan to pull you into sins:
1- "keep enjoying, life is long, you can repent later!"
2- "oh, you have too many sins. Allah will not forgive you, keep doing sins!"
3- "you are young, have some fun!"
4- "everybody's doing it. don't be an extremist. spice up your life!"
5- "don't remain cool during anger, patience is for cowards!"

Eat Halal

"So eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses."

(Al-Anam 6:118)

Husband & Wife – The Eternal Tie - Marriage

“Whose hearts He has brought together, (for), if thou had expanded all that is on earth, thou couldst no have brought their hearts together (by thyself): But Allah did bring them together” (Qur’an 8:63)
"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought." [Qur'an, 30:21]

Ruling on Plucking Eyebrows

Al-Bukhaari (5931) and Muslim (2125) narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “May Allaah curse the women who do tattoos and those who have them done, those who have their eyebrows plucked, and those who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and change the creation of Allaah.”

We(ALLAH) developed him into another creation

"Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators."
 Al Qur'an 23:14

ALL ARE EQUAL IN ISLAM, SO SAY NO TO RACISM AND CASTEISM

Why do we normally share, hang, and like pictures of kids with blue eyes, red fair skin and chubby cheeks?
We do not normally like and promote kids with dark color and curly hair, why?
Islam does not believe in any racism, casteism, nationalism. It believes in only one race that is Human Race.
Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) honored a black slave Bilal to climb over Kaaba and to make call to prayer. Hence breaking the ideology of Racism and clearing misconception that Muslims worship Kaaba as idol.
Till date, Blacks or colored people have special place in Islam, since Prophet Muhammed's (peace be upon him) last sermon was 'no white is superior to black and no black is superior to white, no Arab is superior to non-Arab and no non-Arab is superior to Arab. All are sons of Adam and Adam was made from Dust.'
Likewise, Islam does not believe in making a certain set of people as elites while others being untouchables. In mosques, Muslims are obliged to stand with their feet and shoulders touching each others.

ALL ARE EQUAL IN ISLAM, SO SAY NO TO RACISM AND CASTEISM

Say not to them(parents) [so much as], "uff,"

"And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.

And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."

[Quran Surah Al-Isra (17): 23-24
