* What is Romance? *
Ibn Abbas ( رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ) narrates that Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said:
“There is nothing that creates more love than marriage”
(Sunan Ibn Majah)
Yet, we don't understand what is love and what is romance, when Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) explicitly showed us.
Romance is the manner in which Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) stood in front of young Ayesha
( رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا) cheek to cheek so that his body shielded her and she could watch the Entertainment.
Romance is the manner in which Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) turned the glass to drink from the side that Ayesha ( رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا) drank from.
Romance is the manner in which Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) covered Safiyyah( رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا) when they fell from the camel on the way home after marrying her.
Romance is the manner in which Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) used to lie in the laps of his wives.
Romance is the manner in which Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) used to joke and play games and have races with his wives.
Romance is the manner in which Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) used to lie with his wives for a little while before standing up for tahajjud.
Just a few examples and there are too many to mention, But just know being romantic is from the characteristics that transform an ordinary man into a true husband.
